About the Better World Project
The Association of University Technology Managers launched the Better World Project in 2005 to promote public understanding of how academic research and technology transfer benefits you, your community and millions of people around the world. The project draws from years of case studies and news from AUTM's members — the professionals who make academic technology transfer happen.
2012 Better World Report
In 2012, the Better World Report will continue this tradition of sharing the surprising and inspiring stories behind innovations that have changed the way we live, but in a fresh format. The Better World Report is being transformed from an annual, printed publication into a dynamic, interactive, web-based publication. This innovative approach will:
- Promote continuous exposure and extend the report’s reach
- Populate the Better World Project website with impactful stories throughout the year
- Provide an online experience that lives up to the quality of the stories presented
- Offer users the ability to download stories in hard copy or electronic format to conveniently and quickly distribute to their stakeholders
AUTM members can be a part of this exciting, new publication by submitting their story ideas. Download the application and submit it at any time. The committee will review story ideas—based on its criteria—on a quarterly basis. The first deadline is Feb. 15. Questions? Contact Managing Editor Lisa Richter at lrichter@autm.net.
